Exercise
Your Mind
Mental training is just
as important as physical training. It is involves the development and strengthening of attitude, confidence, resiliency, maturity,
stability, character, and competence. The more an athlete rehearses situations in the manner in which they want them to occur,
before long the outcome almost becomes automatic. Without such training the mind has few resources to draw from in any given
situation. What you think determines what happens and therefore, maximum performance is best achieved through the combination
of physical training and mental training. Worksheets
will be provided from time to time to help you assess your psychological training needs and develop appropriate exercises,
strategies and applications.
